This is my mascot, I haven’t given her a name officially but everyone calls her “dazegirl” so that name just stuck. I designed her in VRoid & Blender in November 2021. She appears on various covers, flyers and merchandise by me.

“Dazegxd’s discography has been shaped by the rave music of the early 00s and video games as well as his Jamaican and Ghanaian heritage, and neighborhood of Canarsie, Brooklyn. He intertwines different elements of hardcore, acid, jungle, trap, rap, house, techno + more to create illimitable sounds. The next level of rave utopia is here, as New York City experiences one of its most raw eras in music. One that can be found in many places. On the sticky floor of a club basement, painted on the walls of an abandoned warehouse, lingering in the air of a smoky studio. Most importantly: within the breathing, bleeding heart of all who dance.” - Cece Moll, Half Moon, July 2023

“Dazegxd grew up listening to video game soundtracks, so it's no surprise their interpretation of dance music is both eccentric and climactic. The moment they got Magix Music Maker on their tablet at 10 years old marked Dazegxd officially as an artist. And their passion for production only grew when they got their first computer a year later and downloaded FL Studio. Now making beats from their Brooklyn bedroom, Dazegxd is spearheading the DIY dance music movement through live events, an abundance of new releases, and a leading role at artist collective and record label, Eldia. Through Dazegxd’s variety of ventures and collaborations, they hope to introduce people to the jungle, drum n bass, and house music, as well as contribute to the genres as much as they’ve impacted him.” - Arielle Lana LeJarde, c. 2022
